Basic Communication Sessions
Business English Communication Certified Trainers are deputed to take sessions on Verbal, Written, and listening skills in the first and second semester of their course.
Aptitude development is critical at Graduation level in today’s environment. Corporates and recruiters evaluate prospective candidates based on their aptitude i.e., quantitative, reasoning, verbal ability, data interpretation and problem solving areas. VCET provides training on Aptitude to students from second year onwards. Trainers are selected based on their experience in teaching students.
VCET’s philosophy is to shape the personality of each and every student studying at VCET to suit their career aspirations. Training programs are conducted for students who wish to pursue higher studies, recruitments, and entrepreneurship areas.
Based on the feedback received from the visiting corporate houses, our Training and Placement team, identifies the gaps in the areas of technical knowledge. To bridge this gap, TPHE cell hosts Training houses like Rooman Technologies, Bangalore and Sadhguru Shikshanaprathishta, Drishyakavya, Marpalli, Udupi under PMKVY program train our students .
Pre-Placement Training Programs
During the final year of their course, training programs are conducted on behavioral aspects, grooming, resume writing, mock personal interviews and mock group discussions to prepare them for facing corporate/public sector recruitment processes. VCET provides training on aptitude to students of final year. Aptitude training consists of quantitative, reasoning, verbal ability, data interpretation and problem solving areas.
